Furniture
I designed and constructed a drawing horse based on my height and the length of my arms and the ability to use it sitting and standing. It was inspired by my past experience using drawing horses that didn't seem to work with my height, or had a tendency to tip over. I wanted something sturdy, comfortable, with enough room for storage underneath or room to store some pencils, erasers, brushes while standing up, which also helped center the weight, reducing tip-over. I built this entire bench from start to finish, choosing the wood at the lumberyard to upholstering the cushion. To this day I continue to use this drawing horse in my studio.
