This is a photo-based etching created by screenprinting an image onto a copper plate, then applying an aquatint via spray paint and then etching the image on the plate with ferric chloride.
The image was then printed using chine-colle, a method that can simultaneously print an image on to a delicate, thin, smooth paper while adhering it to a stronger backing paper.
